FHTM vs. ACN

Why should I choose FHTM over ACN?
Fortune Hi-Tech Marketing is a Multi-Level Marketing program no different than ACN aside from the fact that Fortune has a wider selection of products and services and does not offer the so called “innovative” Video Phone. Not only does Fortune offer a wider variety of products and services, but the compensation plan is much better due to the fact that once you reach a certain point you are able to make more money than the person who sponsored you and grow your company larger than the ones that started the company to be a part of the Presidential Pool.

Once you build a fairly large team you will be eligible for a new car from Lexus. The best part about Fortune Hi Tech Marketing is that to become an Independent Representative it only costs $299 and you only need 3 Customer Points to maintain the Independent Representative status, unlike ACN which you must maintain 5 customer points and the cost to become a representative is $499.

Although I feel that both companies have great potential, I believe that it’s not the company you choose, but the team that you build. If you surround yourself with other like-minded individuals to motivate each other, you can build a team bigger than you could ever imagine with FHTM or ACN.

Network marketing is network marketing, the platform all depends on the type of people you feel you’d better relate to. I feel that FHTM will attract people from all walks of life due to offering a very wide range of products, opposed to ACN which seems to be revolved more around technology and a younger crowd.

Looks like you get 3 countries for $299 and 20+ for $499

  2. I intend on completing a pros/cons checklist for each. Has FHTM’s IR cost been reduced? I can’t seem to find the recent cost of becoming a representative online.

  3. I don’t believe BMW or Cadillac are in the pay plan but maybe so in the future. It is true about Lexus though.

  4. Thanks David! I have updated the post.

  5. I have looked at both ACN and FHTM. I cannot see where the pay plan for Fortune is better. I am looking for a permanent residual income. Apparently I am missing something. It looks like Fortune pays 1/4 percent through level 7 and ACN pays from 8 to 10 percent on level 7. I have not decided which company to join and I would really like to understand why you say the Fortune pay plan is better.

  6. Well, the cost to sign up is much less and the selection of products is much larger, therefore much easier to gain customers.

In my eyes, both would be great companies if you know how to network an MLM company properly.

Although I am somewhat biased as the friends that I do have in FHTM are all down to earth and don’t over-hype MLM nearly as much as ACN reps do, but then again I’ve only met a couple of ACN reps and hundreds of FHTM reps.

  7. I am a Team Coordinator with ACN, this is a 4th level promotion just before RVP. I can earn up to $30k per month from bonuses depending on a lot of factors. I have experienced months where close to 50 reps have joined my down line and I have experienced what happens when you loose momentum. ACN is absolutely a blessed and fantastic company, I have nothing bad to say about the owners, the leaders, the system etc..

I have recently started to evaluate FHTM very closely and if you are strickly looking to compare apples for apples like I am then this is what I can tell you.

ACN is $499 and they stronly encourage everyone to get a videophone. After taxes, shipping, activation and first months billing the phone costs $215 out the door so ACN really costs $615 up front. If you get the company website to run the business that’s $30 per month and then you need one other service or customer. I have close to 300 reps on my team and they way we do it ends up averaging the new rep closer to $1,100 up front w/2 videophones and approx $150 to $180 month for services.

FHTM from what I have observed is $299 and after you get the basic services to qualify you end up paying $415 start up .

So Acn is approx. $615 to $1100 FHTM is $415
    FHTM WINS this one

ACN has been in business 17 years and FHTM only 8
ACN is ranked #22 in the world and FHTM is not even on the list??? ACN WINS

ACN offers telecom services w/contracts only
FHTM has services, products and much more to choose from
FHTM wins this one as well in my opinion

You can get cut off from income completely at certain levels in ACN and from what I understand this is not the same in FHTM, therefore FHTM WINS

You can loose your promotion level in ACN if your reps do not stay qaulified and I have been told the even if your downline quits in FHTM that you still remain and get paid at the same level your built yourself to. BIG WIN FOR FHTM, I know what it’s like to loose a position and get cut off, this is a huge reason I’m looking at FHTM so closely…

ACN has Income limitations at the first 2 promotion levels, FHTM does not seem to have income limitations. FHTM WINS

It only takes 8 reps that get qualified in the correct order to earn $1000 right away at ACN, but FHTM you have to sponsor 12 people and only make $350 bucks, ACN WINS this one.

I could go on, over all what ever you are excited and passionate about as long as you remain teachable, trainable and have a daily agenda of activity you can succeed. Network marteting works if you work, some people are funny, they are still talking about how MLM’s are pyramids LOL. For those of you that are not idiots and get that MLM are legit and have been around forever then find a company you can truly feel like your adding value to people’s lives.

ACN adds value however FHTM is less expensive up front and monthly to join, If you are a builder and can recruit well then it looks like FHTM will pay larger bonuses. FHTM does not demote and or you do not get cut off 100%. FHTM has more options and choices for the customer or rep to get qualified.

I love ACN however I want to see more people have a chance to get involved and make money. Let’s face it, FHTM is more affordable, less per month and if you can get to at least a regional level 12 people then you get paid great bonuses.

Yes I’m currently a builder/speaker/trainer in AZ for ACN. Crazy huh? I’m just being honest. thanks

  8. Thank you for your feedback! I’m glad to hear that you are doing well with ACN!

Network marketing is about being motivated and dedicated. It doesn’t matter which platform you choose as long as you believe in your product.

  9. Just to update the pages information that you have posted. FHTM does have the video now and it is great. I just wanted to let everyone know to update our records…

  10. ‘Network marketing is about being motivated and dedicated. It doesn’t matter which platform you choose as long as you believe in your product.’

    Agree with ‘nickparks’

In Fortune the message is family first. I don’t know what ACN message is. I’m not in it. But, In my talking with ACN reps on Facebook they both seem to be very competitive. So is the way of business.

  11. Just checked this out and what some are saying is threw the roof. Believe me there is nothing that pays like this. We are 1 of the 25 fastest growing company in the world and the only one that was choosen from the net. Hitting our 1st billion in Jan and on a hundred compaines in the world biggest money makers list. Just you wait and you will kick yourself two tome buck two. We are going to be in every house hold in the world. Would you rather be in a company that is only in 4 countries or in one that is in 100 countries. Timing is everything. All businesses is on your own effort!!! Even Jobs.

  12. I hope that some people read this, and feel free to contact me. I have been around network marketing for several years, studied hundreds of companies and choose a business to build after all of my research. One that has a car/house allowance, and a great bonus structure. I have exposed 13 people in my business that turned into 1400 people on my team. Now building a new position that has been collecting volume(if you want details contact me at dreamtravels@hotmail.com) First of all, anyone, in any mlm, can pass their sponsor in income, unless they are the only position given by corporate at the top of the structure. most companies have several that come from corporate and typically add more if they bring in entire teams from other companies. You would benefit by taking a look at the trends. there are 10,000+ people/day retiring and if you go to forbes.com you will find that the industries that are booming are travel and anti-aging.

  13. Positioning yourself among the largest spending demographic in history is a safer bet rather than working in telecom (ACN) I Studied ACN, and the people that left ACN to form a company called 5linx (personally) I also recently reviewed FHTM. Comparing the two: FHTM has better positioning in the marketplace although they do not have any proprietary technology. It really is an affiliate marketing structure and does have a better compensation plan. keep in mind anyone can start an affiliate marketing program, just have a website and you can be an amazon.com affiliate, domain hosting, blog template, travelocity affiliate, you name it!

  14. I have been invited to events and been given positions in many companies and recently worked with a company that had 2.8 million affiliates, and hundreds of products offered. There is a tougher code with ACN and even if you recruit 100 reps you will not progress through either of them because you need to move to the next rank by others in your group actively working, exposing prospects and recruiting. The key to building is DUPLICATION and the average person will not be able to perform in FHTM or ACN due to industry averages. On average, a person in mlm will personally sponsor 2.8 people. With the average order size in those companies and the number I just gave you, it is unlikely that the average person will go up in rank let alone reach the 7th level fast enough for most to stay active. I say average person, because it should be easy for the stay at home mo to do, even though sponsoring up is very important.

  15. Also unilevels DO NOT create synergy, they create competition instead. If you recruit me into your unilevel you will love me, and everything i do, but no one else on the TEAM benefits from my work, other than seeing me as a walking trophy. See I am on a new team, a new leg. The solution: BINARY! In a binary if you sponsor 3 people and I am the 4th, well all 3 people get paid on my efforts also, and it motivates everyone on the team, including you. If I sponsor you into a binary, half of my efforts will go to your team, and then you will get paid from all of their customers/reps. The smart ones that build coded unilevels give sponsors away, to hit rank but most are just looking at their own “front line” and build wide instead and never rank to the higher compensation levels and never get to the 7th level! (”wide for show, deep for dough”) If you would like more information you can contact me. dreamtravels@hotmail.com

  16. my 2 cents, for what it’s worth:

why do i believe acn has a better plan? depth. when you promote in acn, you do not forget the people you originally brought in. look at the plan closely and you’ll agree.

in fhtm, you promote to the next level and “forget” about the original people that wanted to build this business with you. in fact, you are creating competition with them by starting a new group.

    that is the MAIN difference.

  17. @Kevin – The first promotion you can earn is Regional Sales Manager in FHTM. When you first get in you’re in someone’s Regional Code (as FHTM calls it), so when you promote you don’t leave the people you started with because they are being helped just like you would be by the Regional Sales Manager that is above you. Then the people under you originally, have the same help and the same opportunity as you did to promote themselves to Regional Sales Manager. It’s actually quite genius!

Then once you promote to Regional Sales Manager, you get residual and bonuses to unlimited levels, which is incredible! FHTM wins the debate to me, but I wish all of those who are in ACN nothing but the best :)

  18. Network Marketing is a very good way to promote your products in a short period of time.-.,

  19. Hi everyone! I just found this blog and wanted to ask everyone why they want to “compare” FHTM with anyone more than just to do their homework?

There are some people in another company (that I won’t mention here…not ACN) who simply wish to degrade and belittle FHTM and have been doing so since 2004. If you have a company that is as successful as FHTM then I suppose that the law of averages will say that someone is going to be your enemy and plot against you, and that is exactly what has been happening, but for only one reason: to pull FHTM prospects into their company. I have been with ACN and paid my $499 which I know was too much money to join, which I regret now that I have discovered the FHTM opportunity.

FHTM has more to offer than ACN, with no smoke and mirrors around a fancy “Camera phone” that took how many years to come out with. Sure you can build a successful mlm business with just about any out there, but the one I chose is FHTM, and don’t regret a single thing about joining the company.

    Joe wrote:

This is an untrue statement. FHTM has “proprietary technology” with a product line named “True Essentials”, although this product line is not electrical in nature and you don’t plug it into a wall outlet and push a button.

FHTM also wins the debate with me, and of course I wish you the best of success no matter what company you are with or choose to join, but if you want to join me in FHTM, I would be delighted to discuss it and help you along the way with a great support system, and friendly reps. that work with me. Call me right now if you like at (919) 426-3388, and/or visit my website.

Thanks to Nick for the blog platform.

    Peace, Archer

  20. I evaluated several MLM companies before I committed to one. My decision was based on several factors including the overall stability of the company, length of time in business, diversity of products and markets, and experience of the management team. One company stood out, founded by the gentleman who I believe is the most successful person ever in the MLM industry. FHTM

  21. I haven’t had much of a chance to moderate or update the site as I have been very busy. I will start updating/moderating as soon as posssible once I am able to find time in my schedule to do it regularly. I appreciate the comments!
